Who we are
J Robinson & Co provides removals, deliveries, clearances and waste collection from Ormskirk, Lancashire. We are responsible for the personal information you give us through this website. You can contact us about anything in this notice at Johnrobinson23@hotmail.co.uk or on 07428 639695.
What we collect
When you fill in our quote form we collect what you type into it: your name, phone number, email address (if you give it), the service you need, the collection and delivery locations, your preferred date and any other details you add.
If you phone, text, WhatsApp, email or message us on social media, we keep the details (and any photos) you share so we can deal with your enquiry. WhatsApp messages are also handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy.
Why we use it
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, give you a quote, arrange and carry out the job, and keep a record of work we've done. Our legal basis is that you've asked us to take these steps before entering into a contract with you, and, once you book, to perform that contract.
We don't sell your details, and we won't send you marketing unless you've asked us to.
Who we share it with
This website and its quote form are run on Wix, which stores form submissions on our behalf. Fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers. If storage is part of your job, we'll share the details needed with our storage partner, Norwest Storage. We'll also share information if the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and job, and normally no longer than two years after we were last in touch, unless we need to keep records longer for tax or legal reasons.
Cookies and storage
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. The quote form stores a small technical token in your browser so that it can send your enquiry securely. It doesn't identify you.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Contact us using the details above. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
